Äquator System by Eva Geist

I met Eva Geist walking back home, her name is the name of my ancestors.

We met a year after Andrea moved to Berlin.

Seemingly endless nomadism traveling around Europe finally lead me to a place for myself, it was very simple, still a place for me to make music.
There’s an air of melancholy in Äquator System; it could be a dream from an undefined past.

While recording I would stare for hours at an old DDR poster; I love the German words on the celestial coordinate system and I’m fascinated by maps and systems that represent terrestrial and spherical geography.

Dedicated to dreams, lost paradises, and new horizons of human belonging, Äquator System transcends a musical journey from a hidden center to an endless distance, reminding us that we are made of galaxies.
