This is a Traditional Shona song about building a home in the forest that I have been told by Shona relatives, "so you can play more music". Meditating with this song I visualize the babies smooth arrival from the birth canal to the loving arms of his or her family. Mbira is a water instrument, therefore perfect for invoking the spirit of water, fluidity, ease & grace for childbirth.
