Odin, the All-Father. God of wisdom, war, poetry, and many other happenings. He possesses a single eye, having sacrificed the other to gain incredible knowledge. Often accompanied by ravens, and always shrouded in mystery.
Those who believe in Odin believe that all men are his sons. Although he is most commonly associated with Viking tradition, Odin was the most important god for many Germanic peoples as well.
In the eve of battle, all combatants would want the All-Father on their side. If Odin favors a cause, who could stand against it?
