"Spotkanie"
Za zakrętem pojawia się czarny wąż,
Donikąd nie zmierza, porusza się pewnie.
Jego ciemne, ciężkie ciało spowija konary i głazy,
Pełznąć miażdży mrówki i inne pomniejsze istoty.
Promienie słońca odbijają się od jego łusek,
To ruch przerażającej symetrii.

"Meeting"
A black snake appears around the bend,
Going nowhere, moving confidently.
Its dark, heavy body envelops branches and boulders,
Its crawling crushes ants and other lesser creatures.
The sun's rays reflect off its scales,
It is a movement of fearful symmetry.
