Obrońcom naszych ziem pokłon dajcie
Teraz oni złożon są tam weń
Zabranym w ciemną noc pokłon dajcie
Ojcom, których gon w dzicz zapędził
Umarłych orszak ciał przed wiekami
I tak wiecznością pędzi kości łów

Cisza, nastała cisza i mróz
Letnia noc jawą spowita i mróz
Gaśnie wnet ognik uśpiony i mróz
Opadł zmrok, pokój zaćmiony i mróz
Przestrachy i krew płynąca i mróz
Krzyk i śmiech w tanecznych pląsach i mróz
Rozkaz gnać, chwytać oręża i mróz
Rozkaż "śmierć" i lód i mróz

Nie ma słów ni sił na ratunki
Nie ma chwil choć czas dziatek pożegnań
Szczęście złożonym pod całuny
Życie bez trwogi umierania

Before the defenders of our lands bow
