In Transit from The Interloper by Vesoir
The city of Leviathan's Slumber is quite massive and complex, and therefore requires an equally complex network of transportation between the various districts within. These vehicles come in many different sizes and layouts to accommodate the vast diversity of species that inhabit the city. Many of these vehicles are built to facilitate travel through both the air and water.
Portals in the firmament encompassing the city provide pathways enabling them to travel out into the surrounding ocean. These portals are most often utilized for reconnaissance to the surface by the military, due to the treacherous nature of the deep sea.
The Interloper's notes - "I hadn't realized just how large the city was until I was able to view it from the sky. Seeing the architectural marvel that was the city itself, and observing the eclectic society of organics and machines that constructed it and now coexist peacefully; it was a humbling experience."
