misty environs by green clouds
misty environs is the scenery of an electro acoustic sound journey. a viridescent entity dissolving into heavy storms, gently raining down onto the virtual stage. by creating a fog of synthetic sound objects, we enter the world of a wondrous dormant terrain. sonic material is composed of mineral vibration and reverberating particles to form low-pitched holograms, placed in an artificial space. scanning the green void, palpating moist textures, observing ambiguous matter, leads to confusing diffusing fading decay. exhaling misty thoughts, spreading a languid feeling of inertia.
the project started with the object, i.e. the cassette. it was created a year ago, screenprinted with translucent greens. the tracktitles where formed as vessels, which would later be filled with electronic ambience by the duo green clouds.
