Trupa Trupa’s new single "Sister Ray” is punchy, punky and multidimensional. The song captures what’s most characteristic of Trupa Trupa — a blend of poetic absurdist imagery and potent rock and roll surrealism. The song is a preview of their upcoming EP release “Mourners” out in February 2025.
The track was produced by Nick Launay, the esteemed and influential producer known for his work with Nick Cave, Idles, and Amyl and the Sniffers. The video by Adam Witkowski is a form of interactive art created by TT’s band member Wojtek Juchniewicz.
Trupa Trupa is a post-punk band from Gdańsk, Poland, known for their unique blend of brooding leftfield rock and psychedelic influences. They combine dark, introspective melodies with rich, experimental sounds to create their own distinctive space in the world of alternative guitar music.
