Soundplant Symphonies by Tom Furgas
These eight Soundplant Symphonies were composed and recorded using Soundplant, a computer-keyboard based low-latency audio sampler designed by Marcel Blum. The found sounds were collected from a variety of sources. Post-production and mixing by Don Campau.

I was born in 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio. Studied piano from age 6. Studied composition and theory at the Dana School in Youngstown with Adolphus Hailstork and Edward Largent. Also studied piano with Roman Rudnytsky. Begin home-taping activities in 1981. Began trading and selling cassettes of my work in 1983. This Bandcamp discography is not complete, but includes my best work.
