Tiga is back stalking the grid with “IAMWHATIAM,” his first solo single released in the shadow of humanity’s Faustian Subscription to large language models and fifth-generation Smart Pencils. “I can see you’ve come here for answers,” grins the Montreal-based father/songwriter. “See you on the other side of the equation…"

The single’s concussed electro funk was conjured alongside Gesloten Cirkel and MRD at the Live from Earth studio in Berlin as part of the three-day “New Democratic Abundance on the Dancefloor” conference co-sponsored by NATO and LinkedIn Premium. The result is what Tiga likes to call "Music Without Music," a series of wholly intuitive choices made by a man who has stripped his mind bare to outmaneuver the computer and its humanoid bio-agents. "It took me back to when I was a hotshot nine-year-old in the club, changing up my dance styles because everyone was copying me,” offers Tiga. "These days, you gotta feel the rhythm and starve the algorithm. It is the final revolutionary act, no more and no less than the price of Absolute Brain Freedom. Sounds good, doesn’t it?"
