Purpose by This Is Mars

This is my first ever release after three years learning how to write instrumental music, produce, record, mix and master as a solo independent artist.

In fact, I'm a designer who has always loved playing guitar (although badly) but for many years postponed the dream of someday writing and releasing music.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I reconnected to that passion and immersed myself on a journey to learn the skills needed to release the EP you're about to hear. From a complete noob to now a somewhat more capable home producer who still doesn't fully understand compression, I'm beyond excited to publish these first four songs.
