Forgotten Times by The Shade of Crow

After 9 long years, THE SHADE OF CROW proudly reveals its upcoming opus, an EP entitled "Forgotten Times".

Unexpected is the word that defines it. There was a specific schedule for THE SHADE OF CROW new material, mainly because I'm always busy involved in other projects and activies outside music, but "Forgotten Past" wasn't in the plans until some time ago.

It seems to have found a way to the surface, in a desperate tentative to reach the presente, the future and even beyond. It's like an old memory that is almost vanishing from the mind, but then, it suddenly comes and strike with full force. A strange way to remember myself where I stand right now: closing a chapter for another to begin. Drastic but significant changes will take place from now and on, with no space for limitations.

Featuring four compositions that were completed after almost a decade, "Forgotten Times isn't, by no means, a compilation of old demos or unfinished material, but a final and needed piece to close an important chapter. Messages from the old times, remembering and reaffirming the musical - and, why not, personal - journey until the present moment, but also serving as a bridge to the uncertain future.

The cover artwork was conceived by Fernando Melo (Finsternis Art), an artist and designer whose long time collaboration with THE SHADE OF CROW & other projects makes him the perfect choice to illustrate this new release.
