MOTHER '74 by The Chosen Four
After the success of their debut single, The Chosen Four secured funding from Monotoli Records to write and record an album, set to release before Christmas 1974.
The band worked tirelessly in and out of the studio to create MOTHER '74; a concept album about four heroes (depicted by the members of the band) who are bound together by fate to save the known universe from an evil spirit.
Complications arose when Ninten, a key player in shaping their sound, was involved in a tragic car accident and was left unable to perform or continue production until late November. Fortunately, the other three members of the band did as much as they could, and that winter deadline was met.
50 years later, courtesy of OOMPH Studios, the original master tapes have been digitised and remastered for their legacy to live on.
