The Green Kingdom's album "Environs" was inspired by Japanese ambient music, Kankyo Ongaku (environmental music), and memories of science museums. Each track title suggests real or imaginary places related to these inspirations. The layers of electronic sounds and acoustic sonic imagery evoke a sense of nostalgia in the listener.
Japanese copperplate artist Miwa Usui created the album's cover design. Additionally, a special edition of 20 vinyl records will be available, featuring hand-pressed prints on the sleeves.
