Contact is the document of the inaugural meeting - on stage at St Georges in Bristol - between two improvisers who share a fearless approach to collaboration based in radical forms of communality and the practice and politics of deep listening. Playing together for the first time without prior rehearsal, Maggie’s voice, piano and tapdance meet Dan’s gong drones and percussive patter with profound results, presented here in full via a masterful live recording by Annie Gardiner.
