The Lake is the debut record from Macy Rodman. Running through a wide spectrum of pop, dance and experimental tropes, the record sees Macy flexing her fluid song-craft over the course of ten tracks, moving from the deconstructed Springsteen homage "Born" to the dirty pop of "Strawberry Margarita," to the club-scorching "Grunt" (featuring a guest verse by Mister Wallace).
