Swala is four friends, who formed the group out of shared interests and a love for the arts. The group formed during their undergrad years at JKUAT and did a few projects between 2007 and 2013.
Swala is also a Swahili word meaning a subject of concern, or a social matter.
Swala Kaka is Olu - one of the brothers; representing the crew, and making his own contribution as a solo musical artist.
