Trundle'n On by Susie Jane
Recorded entirely on cassette, using a shoebox tape recorder, Trundle'n On is an auditory patchwork of short ditties and sounds.
The oldest song in this collection was recorded in 2018, and the newest just days ago.
Inspired by late nights grieving the death of a close family member, creatures heard through the open windows of my old decaying house and the journey of growing into my art, relationship and on to a new home.
I hope you will enjoy the intimacy that the hissing tape and button clicks introduce, the warmth of memory wrapped in bittersweet voices and the haunting calls of night creatures.
