Cheese by .TNZ

Yes, this is a surprise release. Three tracks. But let's not call it Straftanz, let's call it .TNZ because that's what we have left. But why do a release at all? Let me explain, there are three whole reasons:

1. Years ago, for our very last show, we made an intro track that was kinda about getting through dark times, the lockdowns were over and we finally got our bootyful bottoms out on a festival, felt cheesy about it and made a cheesy rave intro. Looking at the world right now, times still look pretty dark, but as our friend Van, the many eyed, said in that intro track: "We fix our eyes on the horizon, waiting for the night so we can replace the dark times with neon black." - That's what we do, so I guess the sentiment is still valid.

2. The track was was produced without our production powerhouse the capital K. Naturally it sounded like a fart so I advertised its limited quality on its Bandcamp release. Despite the fart sounds, quite recently a person that met my friend Matt, the Biomechanimal, bought that underproduced thing for 5 whole €€€€€s. I felt bad about the track, properly produced it and sent her that version that didn't sound like a fart. She was unimpressed. Matt is my best, my worst salesperson. So we had that reworked recording and made 2 edits.

3. The original track was made for Resistanz festival. This year is the first instalment in the grand history of this excellent event, that we decided not to attend. So we thought it would be nice to give a little thing, so that all our friends there know that we're carrying them in our cheesy hearts.

So here's the release. Buy it for a euro or wait until it's on the streaming services like tomorrow. If you decide to drop a coin for the cheese, we will give the money to Mädchenzentrum Gelsenkirchen, a little NGO that helps girls in difficult situations. They also run a little music school where girls can learn singing, songwriting, performance and production. Good people, doing important work.
