About this work: "Aether is a sort of description, through music, of a day spent in the city during the cold winter, staring at the sky and feeling overwhelmed by the surrounding environment.

The whole album was played and recorded live with an improvisational approach using solely the Buchla Music Easel.”

Bio: "Giulio Fontana (Ogle) is an Italian musician based in Rome. After many years of playing the guitar in various bands, he started working on solo electronic projects and experimenting on the Buchla Music Easel, in the attempt of recreating the melancholic and nostalgic sonorities of his memories as a child living in a big city. Since he started his Ogle project he has published various albums in Europe, America and Japan.”

Static Disc is a lo-fi object label based in Tokyo, in October 2023. It focuses on lo-fi sound and grainy graphic perspectives.
