Venus Reimagined by The Soviet Space Dog Project
The 54-minute track is the result of three separate sessions. I could have just made them separate tracks, but I thought it was more fun to join them with some bridging pieces - as I did before on some of my earlier releases.Think of it as a virtual concert in the cloud decks of Venus.
The first two parts are in my more "usual" style, whereas the third part is a slight departure. If you don't enjoy it, the "Part 1" edit will be your friend. I recommend going with the whole and go with the development - you may even enjoy it.
As noted, also added are edited versions and there are some subtle differences in processing, but you would have to listen very hard to spot them. Think of these as handy "Radio Friendly" edits (hint hint).
There were a few clicks and pops along the way as everything was recorded live, just not all at the same time. I think I've removed them, but my apologies in advance if I missed any.
Oh yes, and you've also got a live sequencer improvisation as an added bonus - this was used on one of my YouTube videos. It has some distortion, so if that's going to worry you, just don't listen to it. This was a sequencer setup that I was testing and pressed record before I started. You've got the whole thing, very much warts 'n' all.
Finally... everything is mastered to 24-bit files. I've been asked to make a point of saying this by a few of you, so I did.
