Boho Solo by John May
Quite late one night in 2002 John came down to my home studio with his guitar in hand. I set him up in the middle of the living room with a couple of mics and DI from his guitar, he then proceeded to perform these songs in a single pass. The whole thing was done in less than an hour but still remains one of my favourite recordings. Something about the immediacy and delivery of these fine songs makes them stand out in my mind, a real snapshot of the times in which they were recorded.
