theia mania by SONUS EORUM

In SONUS EORUM, which started as a noise music studio project in Berlin 2020, Mathieu Sylvestre live- records, loops and transforms Leander Reininghaus' rerouted live sounds and samples, which are used as a source of objective material in order to create a geometric response to the sound flow of the loops.

Mathieu Sylvestre is a French noise musician who works with loopers, instruments and field recordings.
Leander Reininghaus is a German composer, producer and livelooping multiinstrumentalist.

The releases presented here are the audio works of SONUS
EORUM's ongoing studio sessions.

After taking a short breather with our last release 'áfixi', here comes again a longer track with a cheerful blast of 'divine madness' (theia mania), a pulsing venture into altered states with free tonal sounds and loops.
