Standstills I by Songs From Tin Pan Alley
Standstills I is an expression of the captivating and mesmerizing moments where everything falls into place. The songs are built around melodic phrases from my piano and complemented by textures from my small modular setup.
Everything is recorded in one takes on my Marantz CP230 with no overdubbing. This process gives the songs a kind of freshness and naivety, which I really enjoy. Hope you do too ;-)
