Jazz re:freshed are proud to present the debut EP ‘Extinction’ by emerging composer Sofia Grant. With its intricate vocal harmonies, lyrical storytelling and delicate studio production, this debut is a stunning introduction - solidifying Sofia Grant as one to watch in 2023.

‘Extinction’ offers a meditation on the themes of climate change, ecological collapse and our relationship with the natural world.

The five-track EP marks Sofia’s first offering as a composer, arranger and producer - alongside her vulnerable and accomplished vocal performance. It is about climate change, nature loss, the impact of human ambition on the natural world, and even the extinction of life as we know it.
