Blankets by Sleeping Tapes

Work on Blankets started in the summer of 2016 and since then we've all went through changes in our relationships, in our mental health, in our careers, in our lives, some for better, some for worse. To the best of our ability, some of those changes are represented here.

Of course, there's still plenty I'm figuring out in my life and in my own head, but working on these songs helped me feel a little better. And I think Tyler & Payton would say the same. I mean, we're just a local band that doesn't really play too often any more, but still these songs mean something to us, you know?

Many thanks to Eric Stanley for mastering the album and to Katelyn Hamilton for the awesome Tater cover art. Also, shout out to Heather Hammers, Major McKeithen and the estate of J. Burgess for providing back up vocals.

I think Payton sums it up best on Counting Sheep: "I'll hold onto what I can/ I'll keep playing in a punk rock band with no real fans/ just a loyal group of supportive friends."
