ABOUT "2020 VISION"
This album was a collaboration between Sir Andrew the Bard & Jeffo. Jeffo is a multi-talented musician who lives in Madison, WI.
The album was recorded remotely, adhering to all social distancing guidelines. Of all the artists on the album - three live in Chicago, one lives in Wisconsin, and one lives in Maine - none of us ever met in person. We used a useful thing called the internet to communicate and bounce ideas off each other.
"2020 Vision" is a reflection on the year each and every one of us have experienced. Granted, some of us have had it easier than others (what's up racial/class disparities?!) But everyone has felt some version of an uprooting to their lives. And it fucking sucks. It can make you feel angry, sad, hopeless, adrift or aimless. Sometimes it makes you feel all of those things at once.
This album is in response to all of that.
This album is BECAUSE of all of that.
This album is an attempt to provide (at least) some catharsis to you during an incredibly strange and difficult time in history.
Keep breathing. Keep wearing your mask.
Stay safe, healthy, and angry.
