Crossing by Simon Sammut
The project is made up of twelve compositions capturing mystical, ambient dreamscapes and organic, melodic statements. The soundscapes – developed from different sources of thought, from ambient electronic, Western classical to traditional world music – are created to be textural, compelling, evocative, and meaningful.

Simon started his initial studies at a young age and reached advanced levels of music education. After studying piano for a number of years, he started playing electric bass at the age of thirteen.
Simon he is a fluent reader and a versatile musician with an eclectic taste.
Besides his work as a performer, Simon is equally at home in the roles of composer, arranger, producer and music teacher.
