Still Point by Severiano Martinez + Mario Diaz de Leon
The first collaboration of Martinez (Oakland, CA) and Diaz de Leon (NYC). Following six years of musical acquaintance, they recorded Still Point during an afternoon in June 2006. Using analog synthesizers, a Cocolase delay system by Ciat-Lonbarde, electric guitar, and voice, their improvised songs blend new age with noise and incantation.
