This song is so special in that it tells a story about a bulldog that the couple met at a private performance. “We were at an event; the owner had asked everyone to refrain from touching the dog as she was shy, very ill, in a lot of pain and might be nippy.” says Joudie. During their performance Annie would sit in front of the stage, not moving her gaze from the duo. It really seemed as though she was actively listening to the music. After the last set, Annie got up, casually walked over to the band and demanded their attention. This was one of the sweetest moments for the duo, an that is when they decided to start writing about special moments and memories.
