IPHIGENIA by Séraphitüs-Séraphîta

Enter the complexities of sacrifice and the fragility of human bonds.

IPHIGENIA features ethereal fragments of submerged choral elements and muted chants, creating a dark spiritual atmosphere, while distortion and reverb add an extra layer of unease. Droning synth and manipulated loops inspired by Euripides' Greek tragedy "Iphigenia in Aulis" and "The Killing of a Sacred Deer," directed by Yórgos Lánthimos.

This album also includes a bonus remixed contribution from Schwarzer Tag, entitled “Quotidian,” which blends my "Taken to Live Amongst the Gods" with their own "Lydian Fields".
