Flashing lightning, meteors surrounding, a distant rain that somehow left the stars above to shine

I could have spent my whole entire life inside that corner of the universe inside us. The noise was all around us.
The darkness wasnt scary when we drifted through the lake.

Thats when I knew I'd found a part of me in you.

Now you've gone so far away, like you said when we first spent some time together. You let me wear your sweater
It made me feel like home when I was feeling like a stray.
Another thing I couldn't ever replicate was the sound of the echo in your parlor of your Rochester apartment where we'd lived as brief a spell as it was together in our peace.

I wanna thank you, if nothing else I met you. The love of our past lives drifted off and left their trace.
