The Immortals by Scott Hunt
The Immortals Soundtrack is a collection of original music composed by Scott Hunt for the production of Erica Frank's play "The Immortals." This production not only marks Scott's first time writing music for the theatre, but also is the directorial debut of Frank. The Immortals ran for several shows in April of 2015 at the University of Toledo. The production featured an original fairy tale story, Bunraku puppets as the characters, an amazing set and a complete pre-recorded soundtrack and video display accompaniment. Scott acted not only as the music composer, but also as the chief sound designer and recording producer of music and dialogue. This immersive work and inspiring collaboration with Erica Frank, inevitably led to Hunt winning the prestigious Deans Award at the University of Toledo. Scott's score for “The Immortals” is written mainly for strings, percussion and voices. This magical collection was sequenced so that the audience might either relive the experience of seeing the production or (as a first time listener) be able to enjoy the musical arc of the story.

Scott Hunt is an American composer, songwriter, singer and producer. He is best known for his melancholy solo albums and eclectic writing style. When composing his unique form of electro dance flavored music, Scott goes under the moniker "Hunter." Hunt also works as a composer providing original music for independent films, television and the theatre.
