Bullitt is an endless source of love pills in hit format that mark the vital soundtrack of their lovers. For me, that fell in love with them since its inception, that distant 2009 where they gave us their first and rabid "Squared Wheels", they have absolutely stole my heart, but it never stops to amaze me, the virtuosity they show when doing something so complicated with such insulting -apparent - ease.
In BMajor we find all the pieces of the sound puzzle that Bullitt has been building over the years. Overwhelming punk-rock (“Avalanche", "Time of the Year"), indie rock by the book (“Counters", "For a While"), power pop ("Fix Myself", "Step in the Real"), approaches to hard-rock/grunge ("Out of Sight", "Hold the Light", “Echoes", "You and I") and of course his trademark epic mid-tempos ("The Conflict", "I will Wait").
Bullitt deserve to be recognized as one of the great bands of the last fifteen years in Spain, but those of us who know it -like them- don't need anyone to tell us. We just hit play, reproduce and enjoy.
Because listening to Bullitt again is like going to eat at mom's home. It never disappoints and you always leave wondering why the hell you don't go more often.
