Wooden Teeth by Ryan Werner

WOODEN TEETH was written/recorded in July 2019 with the exception of "Brothers" which was written/recorded in April 2019 back when I originally thought I'd have time to get all this shit done. I remembered I have a midi cable for my synth, so apologies in advance.

The songs on this album were each written as a companion piece to the stories in a chapbook I wrote years ago called If There's Any Truth In a Northbound Train. The songs themselves are presented as the first half of this album and the audio book (complete with songs weaving in and out) is presented as the second half of the album.

IF THERE'S ANY TRUTH IN A NORTHBOUND TRAIN is a short story chapbook I released in 2014. Here's what Aaron Teel, author of Shampoo Horns, had to say about it:
