He didn’t know where to go/ So he thought he’d go insane/
With all the things that built up/ On his shoulders plus he was stuck in the rain/
He was a broken man/ The only one that could see the blood on his hands/
So filled with self doubt/ Trying to do the impossible and figure things out/
He thought he was in that lonesome valley/ Cause he felt he was walking alone/
So blind to the ones that loved him/ The prodigal son thought he could never return home/
Mentally, physically, emotionally worn/ He’d do anything to get get out of the storm/
He walked into a storm he’d never seen/ With a man behind the counter standing in front of screen/
And he said//

Welcome to the parts department/
Here you can get the things to fix you up good as new/
Take a second to look around, we’ve got it all, yeah we’ve got it all//

He was confused to say the least/ Cause they had it all from courage to brains to shields for hearts on your sleeve/
But couldn’t find what he needed/ Something to help this feeling defeated/
Something to get this weight from above his back/ Something to defend from loneliness’ attack/
He asked the clerk what he should do/ He said “You’re gonna need a special part and that a new point of view/
We’ve got those too/ Let me show you/
And suddenly he could see the ones that loved him/Suddenly he could hear them beckon him home/
He felt the weight from his shoulders/The prodigal son was finally returning home/
And he left that store without a shred of doubt/And for weeks and weeks it was all he could talk about
