496 is the title of the new Romboid’s Record as a continuation of Ramé, because it comes from the same recording sessions, same creative concept and even same Hardware. These two releases, and two more, will be the parts of a tetralogy, already recorded, which will be all released in upcoming months.
496 comes from a mathematical concept, as is considered one of the most perfect numbers in maths, because its proper divisors add up to give 496. This comes as a analogy of the presence of maths in music, polyrhythms, and the mix of art and science, order and chaos…
All 12 themes are long, brain-stimulating tracks, with alternating dark and dreamy soundscapes, mixed with glitchy, noisey and chaotic moments.
