Avalon Marsh by riverrun
The new riverrun album, "Avalon Marsh", features two longform tracks - the title track, and "Swill Point", both recorded in, and inspired by, the landscapes of Somerset. It forms the first part of a suite of new riverrun releases focused on the landscapes of Somerset.
The album is available in a limited edition CD Digipak with a mini essay about the making of the album.

Daniel Land's riverrun project is a series of heavily-composted landscape recordings, that he has been working on for nearly two decades in parallel to his songs. Building upon the groundwork laid down by Brian Eno's 'On Land' album, riverrun's music painstakingly layers field recordings and reprocessed studio tracks into a deeply nostalgic exploration of geography and memory.
