Reviews:
I was amazed how well the musicians mesh together in sharing the creative vision.. -- Jazzreview.com / Milwaukee, WI USA
Very progressive and intellectually composed. "Infinity" gives you a feel good jazz vibe, with a down and dirty rock groove -- (Michael Allison / MusicDish.com - December, 2000)
All (Infinity) 9 tracks show a fine use of the band's talent with some tracks taking a rock stand, other's the jazz. Tracks like "Twice upon a time" are more fixed into the middle ground rock, almost ballad sounding. "Z'hadum" relies on the jazzier side of the CD. Blue Samaba takes an almost progressive sound on board. The band is going to get alot of praise for this release which is sure to cut a swath through the jazz rock field. -- Acid Attack Music - West Midlands, U.K.
..(Rare Blend)the raw energy of one side, and the abstract melodic movements of the other.. -- Adam Garratt / Columbus Alive - Columbus, OH USA (July 2000)
I highly suggest you check out Rare Blend either live or CD. I guarantee it will be worth the time! -- Revue Magazine / Akron, OH USA (August, 2001)
Rare Blend is a rare treat to hear. This CD was a pleasent surprise, I had no idea what to expect. With songs titles like Z'hadum and Funky ovulation shuffle, I didn't know what this group was all about. However, once "infinity" started, I was pleased to find a jazzy and up-beat blend of instrumental music. This album was well performed and is a great find for the avid jazz fan. you will discover a great talent here and will be anxious for more..I know I am. -- Nefarious Entertainment Magazine - Milan, Illinois
