Beef Wednesday by punchu
Punchu's debut EP, titled "Beef Wednesday", was released June 10th, 2020 on all streaming platforms. The 5-track EP was recorded independently in University of Toronto Music practice facilities. It features guest vocals from members Amika and Jonah of Whitby art-folk band, Wooly. It was co-produced, mixed, and mastered by friend and independent artist, Julian Drazilov.

Punchu is an indie rock band formed the summer of 2017 in Whitby, Ontario. They are an eclectic mix of post-punk, prog, new wave and jazz influenced instrumentation. Their lyrics are what can be described as emo satire, with heavy topics such as baseball, Canadian living, not being fish, and most importantly: a love of food. Their live show is an energetic set of music and stage antics.
