"Well," Durrell said, "that went off without a hitch. We're doing alright so far."
"What are the casualties?" Rip asked
Durrell told him soberly, and added, "they will never be forgotten, as the world sleeps, we lost some of our finest. History will know about these unsung heroes someday."
"But for now, we're expanding. Phase one is complete, and they never saw it coming. What little they did, was little too late. Now Ripley brace yourself. You and all our mend and women are about to be briefed."
