Kites cutting across the stage
Colour distracts from the grey

Birds singing in the trees
Songs drifting on falling leaves
Sky alights in a fiery glow
Chilling air begins to blow

Candy floss clouds dotted about
Bittersweet shapes slowly fade out
As the sun sets, the stars ignite
But nothing can stop the turning of the night

And night might be creeping
