As indicated by the title ("Spirals"), their most recent album slowly uncoils a healing helix of sound, sparkling like light on water and sounding just as natural. First laying eyes on the cover, I was immediately reminded of Gustav Klimt's painting "On Lake Attersee," which radically represents the most astounding of Austria's natural beauty abstractly, with little more than green and silver paint.
It's a similar trick to that pulled by PJS here, with synth-driven drones that carry a depth only equaled by the most expansive bodies of water, real or imagined. Highest possible recommendation!”
