Norman was singing - we were ten feet tall
Then Blessett came to town walking with his cross
And we heard Green preaching till his life was lost

Matthews and Agape rocked us a tune
With Stonehill, McGuire and the whole Jesus crew
We worshipped in the stadiums, witnessed on the streets
And said, ‘Jesus loves you!’ to everyone we’d meet

It was a Jesus revolution (Revolution)
We saw it and heard it - we were there
A Jesus revolution everywhere

Folk singers played in the coffee shops
And ‘Jesus Rock’ became top of the pops
We handed out papers and salvation tracts
Wanting everyone to know eternal facts

Churches were filled with hippies and smokers
Sharing the pews with addicts and bikers
Everybody singing and praising the Lord
We learned to live according to His Word
