Blood Moon

I'm stood beneath a trembling light while darkness sets you free
And your words are specks in black of night that seem so far from me
But when it's darkness no one sees
Your shadow fit so perfectly on me

And I feel shoots in my body start to slowly grow again
And light filaments wrapped around my heart lead me back to a stem
But I'm not rooted where I am
It can be hard to understand

And I'm talking to you about you - you said “it’s all gonna change”
And I can see the light of the moon’s a different colour as it's rolling away

And oh are you coming back soon?
And oh can you tell me how soon?
And oh will it be a blood moon?
Oh I think I see a blood moon in the sky tonight

And I’ve found a seed on the sole of my foot that's growing inside of me And I feel its tendrils in my veins, I feel its sap in me
And though we tripped up every time
We somehow find we are all kind of strange
