Oregonian by Paul Eddy

Welcome music lovers to my new album, Oregonian. This album has a running theme as all the songs are, in one way or another, connected to my experiences here in the state of Oregon where my wife and I have lived for nearly twenty years.

The songs themselves cover an extremely wide variety of styles ranging from Beach Boy-esque to punk rock and quite a few points in between, again the only unifying factor being that they're all to do in part with Central Oregon. That, and the fact that one individual (me!) wrote, arranged, programmed, recorded, sang and played all the instruments myself, ala McCartney's “Cherries” album.

The acoustic guitar throughout was my trusty prototype Bedell 1964 OM, the electric guitar was an Epiphone 335, and the bass was a Tokai Jazz copy. I programmed the Steven Slate SSD5 drum software and played the Blues3 Hammond organ software by Cherry audio and the Addictive Audio Piano software. The recording DAW was Reaper. All done on my laptop.

Northwest native Paul Eddy is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist residing just outside of Bend Oregon. Primarily a solo artist, but also a founding member of "Bend's Beatle Band" Juju Eyeball, as well as the long running Long Tall Eddy.
