Singularity by Parkland Music Project

Parkland is a music project based around the writing and recordings of Rob Malowany. Primarily a singer/songwriter, immersion in the Vancouver creative music scene inspired Malowany to mix improv and textural exploration into his song structures. In a live setting Parkland exists in many forms, from voice with guitar and piano, to an exploratory full-spectrum band with drums, dobro, cello, piano, and bass, together with an array of noise soundscapes and unique textures.

Parkland mixes impassioned, heart-laid-bare songwriting evocative of alt-country with shades of post-rock, textural improvisation, and understated, lush orchestration.
