Aerobic International is extremely proud to be releasing the first solo EP from this fine Washington, DC based singer/songwriter.
Olivia is one of those rare artists gifted with so many talents, and such an innately warm magnetic personality, that its almost impossible not to connect with her music on one or many levels.
Her voice--always her most obviously striking feature-- is pitch perfect morning dew on spring grass--or whatever other metaphor for "fucking amazing" you choose. Her song-craft is at once sincere and fine-tuned--it invites and rewards scrutiny.
Of course there are many great things that can also be said about this debut EP, which is surely the first of many (we hope!). At the core though, Walkabout is a journey of the heart and soul set to music. It began in the winter and emerges in the spring. Now who wouldn't want to go there with Olivia?

"Walkabout" is a four-song EP, conceived by Olivia Mancini in a woodland cabin in Woodstock, NY, and recorded with producer Jarrett Nicolay at Pick-Up Productions in Kensington, MD. Band Members: Olivia Mancini, Jarrett Nicolay, Randy Scope, Julia Mancini Whalen, Sara Curtin.
Once described by the Washington Post as the "hardest working woman in D.C. rock," Olivia Mancini is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, bassist and performer who wears many hats in many different groups. In May 2016, Olivia will release her first EP, venturing into solo territory after many years of making albums with her band, The Mates, as well as the Washington Social Club, Astra Via, Ed & Donna, Ruby Rae, Leland Sundries, America Hearts, Antonette Goroch, and the Sleeping Secrets.

She likes doowop music, bass guitar, and bikes, but doesn't like being caught in the rain or wearing flip flops anywhere but the beach.
