Oliva began music studies of classical guitar and composition in Cuba dating back to 1979, releasing a first new age production called “Visitors from Another Dimensions“ in 1995. Since then, Oliva has produced more than 90 completed albums and has topped charts with several instrumental and electronic compilations such as Pure Trance (Vol. 1- 9). Oliva's viral track "All Day Rain” and “Departing to the Stars" have garnered streams in excess of a million each.
Oliva's vast catalog traverses trance, liquid trance, mega trance and club trance and blends instrumental, new age, classical, chill out, world and electronic with nature sounds, driven by creating music with the objective of expanding consciousness and meditation. Many productions cover themes such as ancient civilizations, historical events and personas, world and cosmic explorations along with new concepts of electronic music that elicits calmness and a sense of an uplifted state of mind. Oliva’s music is often associated with the music style of Enigma, Deep Forest, ATB, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Kitaro, Enja, Karunesh, Terry Oldfield, Medwyn Goodall, Cusco, Deuter, ATB , Cosmic Gate, Solarstone and Delirium.
