galen tipton fully realizes her “brain scratch” sound (a combination of ambient, idm, asmr, sound collage, plunderphonics and musique concrète) in a lush orchestral setting, taking a collection of hyper expressive midi improv sessions, field recordings and samples and sculpting them into hyperreal ecosystems, begging to be studied and explored
